Long Term Care
The Seniors Quality Leap Initiative (SQLI) was established by North America’s leading Long Term Care organizations in 2010, out of their collective desire to improve clinical quality and safety for seniors. Today, SQLI has grown into a strong community of practice, with committed member organizations and partner organizations across North America.
CALTC is a national organization comprised of provincial associations and long-term care providers that deliver publicly-funded health care services for seniors across Canada.
CARF International accreditation provides a visible symbol that assures you of a health service provider’s commitment to continually enhancing the quality of its services and programs, with a focus on the satisfaction of clients and residents. Obtaining CARF Accreditation is the result of a thorough and rigorous evaluation process, and it is held by a select number of long-term care providers.
The Ontario Long Term Care Association works to promote safe, quality long term care for Ontario’s seniors. It is the largest long term care provider association in Ontario, and its homes are regulated by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. Retirement
ORCA is a voluntary non-profit association of retirement residences in Ontario. Since 1997, ORCA has helped set standards for retirement home care and operation and provided a peer-review program to assess compliance and accredit member homes. BC Care Providers Association (BCCPA) is the leading voice of non-government operators providing continuing care services in British Columbia.
