One of the Foundation’s significant milestones in 2025 was the ground-breaking partnership with Ontario Tech University and launch of The Sienna Senior Living Research Centre for Healthy Aging and Happiness.
The Centre will be dedicated to supporting the advancement of research and innovation in aging, with a focus on three priority areas:
- Enhancing resident well-being
- Empowering people
- Driving insight and impact
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to turn research into greater real-world impact on the lives of seniors, and represents the largest single donation made to date by the Foundation.
Every donation to the Sienna for Seniors Foundation directly supports programs that enrich the lives of seniors across Canada.
Since Foundation’s inception.
From music therapy to intergenerational projects.
Supporting team members with the next steps in their careers.
We believe in the power of community to transform the lives of seniors across Canada. As a result of the generous donations we’ve received, the Foundation can extend its impact by bringing more joy, connection and care to those who need it most through the following charities.
Expansion of three successful and established programs:
- Hub Club provides a space for socializing, exercise, recreation, and educational activities for older adults
- Tech Buddy pairs seniors with youth for training sessions on technology and internet fraud safety
- Pen Pal connects students with older adults in sharing stories via letter writing that aids in combatting ageism
At the Sienna for Seniors Foundation, we are deeply grateful for the generosity of our donors, whose contributions are vital in making our vision a reality. Each donor plays a crucial role in empowering us to enrich the lives of seniors across Canada. Their commitment not only funds impactful programs but also spreads joy and companionship in the senior community. We proudly recognize and celebrate the kindness and dedication of our donors, who stand with us in our journey to create a better world for our elderly.
